NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace

Electrical energy is dangerous, especially when those on the job site do not understand general electrical safety practices. Our NFPA 70E course defines work practice requirements used to avoid injury from working with electrical power. This course explains how to prevent harm from a release of electrical energy when working with electricity.  

Working with electrical energy is a potentially dangerous and requires to be proper trained to fully understand how to work with it safely on the job site. During this training, students learns to minimize and prevent exposure to electrical hazards. This training also instructs the students on how to understand the relationship between OSHA and NFPA 70E.

Electrical injuries are severe and can be life threatening. Injuries and fatalities from electricity are due to shock, electrocution, arc flash, and arc blast. It is crucial to understand how to best prevent these events from happening.

OSHA refers to the NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the workplace to protect workers from severe electrical hazards. Professionals working in or around electrical environments are required to meet NFPA 70E requirements and complete training.
