Understanding the NEC
This course consists of 32 classroom hours to help you with understanding the NEC and passing the PSI Exam.
The compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) is a major concern for today’s electricians. The need to understand and accurately apply the NEC is great. But, the NEC book is huge—the loose-leaf binder version, for example, is nearly 800 pages. Complicating this further, the NEC can be downright confusing. Even common applications make NEC training essential.
This course offers full-color illustrations to help guide you through everything you need to know to understand the National Electric Code (NEC) and to help you review the principles that you will need to pass the electrical license exam (PSI) exam.
This course is designed to bring students up to speed on their knowledge of the NEC as quickly and efficiently as possible. It also teaches students working in industrial and commercial facilities how to navigate, use and understand the NEC as it applies to the electrical work they do. Inspectors and residential electricians will also find this course extremely valuable.
The course is designed for classroom setting and helps you learn the material and test your knowledge in each area. It has been designed for success and covers each of the areas where you need more review:
